For Rolex Replica, the SKY-DWELLER (which I wrote about yesterday) was clearly their lead launch product for Baselworld 2012.  In addition to several jewel encrusted monstrosities which hold no interest for myself and my readers, they did roll out some other items of interest.  First, the long-anticipated non-date Submariner 114060 which has all of the upgrades (ceramic bezel, blue lume, bracelet, clasp, etc.) of the 116610:

Rolex also updated the Yacht-Master – the new reference (predictably) is 116622.  I’m actually pleased (surprised?) that Rolex didn’t change more than they did with this model update.  It appears as though all they did was update the clasp, and give the bezel 120 clicks vs. 60 clicks.  I and most others in the enthusiast community are quite pleased with how Rolex has handled the Yacht-Master (and that doesn’t happen very often).  Additionally, Rolex added a new Yacht-Master dial variant – this cool, sunburst blue dial:

Rolex’s sister company Tudor had some nice launches at Basel 2012 too.  Here’s the Pelagos which a case in titanium which measures in at 42mm diameter.  It has a sapphire crystal and is water resistant to 500 meters. It also features a helium-release valve:

Here’s the Tudor Heritage Black Bay Diver:

So over all, a rather big year for Rolex at Basel.  Still no bi-color ceramic GMT though….and when the heck are they going to bring Tudor back to the US?
